The SPE Norway Subsurface Conference returned to Bergen. Hosted by Equinor, this event brought together heads and innovators from firms active along the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Amund Vik, State Secretary for the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, opened the conference with his pre-recorded keynote speech.

In his speech, he mentioned how increasingly vital Norwegian contributions will be in meeting European energy needs. He also highlighted Norway’s commitment to the green shift and the role that the petroleum and energy sectors will play in this transition.
The conference included presentations on key topics involving oil and gas activities along the Norwegian Continental shelf. It also touched on topics related to the future of the sector.
